Room 12 Assembly

On Friday It was room 12's assembly we did the assembly all about camp. We  came through the back of the hall we sang a poem and Gina leaded us in. I shared my senses poem and my triarama it was scary but fun to be in front of my family and friends. It was fun doing our just dance . And that was the end of our assembly.

Volleyball

On Tuesday and Thursday we have volleyball we do it with my teacher. ' Mrs Roskam. We can spike'set' serve' dig' and control  the ball it is really fun. I ENJOY volleyball and I am excited for our next winter sport.

Karakariki camp

Last term the Senior Syndicate went to Karakariki Christian camp. We left on march the 17th and came back on march 20th. We jumped on the bus and we were on our way to a camp I've never been on a camp before. On the way to camp the boys were singing the wheels on the bus it was so annoying. When we got there we explained the camp rules then we set up the dorms it wasn't as fancy as I thought but it would be but it would horrible to sleep outside in the cold and you don't want possums sleeping on you would you like that? Then we packed and went for a bush walk it was so fun, but a long way. We finally got there we got changed in our togs and swam in the waterhole. When we got back to our tent location we had nachos. I't was a fun day.

When Mrs. Roskam was away on her honey moon we had Mrs. Demchy with us. She taught us how to make them. We needed to know how to sew to make them it was so fun i got to learn how to make ears and the arms and also the legs. I  loved they way they turned out but I didn't get to finish it but they looked really great at the end.

Amazing Dianne

Amazing Dianne 

We went to see Dianne our team  energize  leader. Our syndicate went to ask questions and she told us her story of her life. 

At the age of 12 she started running her couch trained her and trained her until she got really good. Then she went to the commonwealth games she ran two rounds and came 4th in both races. She was the only one who ran in her family she still has the clothes that she wore at the games. We think she did very well and believe she is a member of our community who shows excellence! She has friends that went with. Her  dream and her goal is to come home with something but she didn't. She tried very hard. I think you just have to train to become good and just try your best In everything you do because you will do it and accomplish your goal because you trained and tried hard and proud of your self I really liked seeing Dianne.

Term 2 reflection

This term i loved everything.Miss workman always makes it fun I'm never bored i most enjoyed  the book review.I now know how to write a boring narrative NOT.
