Rosies world

We are learning about dairy farms.
On Rosie's world we played a game it was hand milking and after
we played machine miking and  we played robotic milking. It was so much fun.  You should try and  play it.

I am so happy that we are going to a dairy farm  to learn about cows  and learn about how milk turns into ice-cream I am going  to be so excited that maybe I might throw some muck on my class.It is going to be so much fun.
We are also going to go to Swim Safe and learn some swimming skills.  The year 4 kids told us that we have a cool picnic at Ngaruawahia and we get to go on paddle boats and hydroslide and a flying fox.  I am so excited about Term 4

Andrea Hewitt
Andrea was born on the 4th of April in 1   in Christchurch.  She has two sisters.She loves surfing. the sand and the beautiful weather in Moolooaba.  She loves the Moolooaba World Cup.
She is New Zealand's top triathlon woman.  In her race she has to swim, bike then run.  She has to train for many hours every day.
She lives in the Mediterranean area from May to December and for the rest of the year she returns to Christchurch.
In 2011 Andrea was ranked the top female triathlete in the World Series.  She represented New Zealand at the London Olympics but she didn't run her best race. She got 6th in her event.  She was very disappointed because she thought she had a chance for a medal. 
Her goals are to keep improving and to achieve to her highest level and she is going to keep trying to get better and better.

today the whole middle syndicate did a performance about sound. Room 7 did some plays. Room 9 and 10 did a sound scape about the all blacks it was so fun . we did a song jump g uess what I started it by myself as the lead person. I liked it.

my explanation writing

I am learning to do explanation writing. I know it is going to be fun There are lots of things to do in it . Explanation writing tells a reader how something works or why something happens.

I did my speech.  It went pretty well but I could have been better.  I needed more actions and to do more sweeps of my kitten photos for the audience to see.
In maths I am learning to add in tens. I can use my basic facts to work out the answer.20+30=50 (2+3 =5)
That's why I love school.

My goal in the speech competiton is to  have good eye contact  and to not to be shy. I need to be still with my body.

This term  I  am learning to do a  mini  speech.  I need to have to be still and  to have good eye contact,  to speak clearly. I want a smiley face, not to be shy and lots of  exciting  bits. I am going  to have  fun  doing it.
